Doug Robertson CSSBB, CQM/OE, CQE, CQA, CBA – Sr. Quality Engineer – Depuy-Synthes
Abstract: Problem solving methods can be performed using various techniques and approaches. This presentation is developed from a Johnson and Johnson program that combines several techniques that have been presented to our ASQ section in previous meetings including Kepner Tregoe, 8D, Ishikawa, and others. The program will present this material and work through a team based exercise to verify the content and effectiveness of the training material.
Speaker Bio: Doug has 37 years of experience in quality assurance and manufacturing environments. He holds ASQ certifications as a Six Sigma Black Belt, Quality Manager/Operations Excellence, Quality Engineer, Quality Auditor, and Biomedical Auditor. He recently completed the Johnson & Johnson Certified Quality Engineer Program. His experience includes wood products, aerospace, tier 1 automotive supplier, air-conditioning, and turbines. Doug’s latest responsibilities focus on the medical device industry as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer for new product launches and innovation projects.
He is a Senior ASQ member as well as serving on the Corning-Elmira Section 0202 ASQ Board as the Section Leadership Chair.
