Doug Robertson CSSBB, CQM/OE, CQE, CQA, CBA – Sr. Quality Engineer – Depuy-Synthes
Abstract: Test Method Validations are a strengthened approach to Gage repeatability and reproducibility studies. This program will go over the differences between a simple gage R&R and what additional activities may be performed for a test method validation. The process demonstrated will be the current methodology deployed for the Depuy-Synthes manufacturing site in Horseheads, NY. The effect of sample sizes and the inclusion of conforming and non-conforming product on the acceptance criteria for the test method validation will be discussed.
